All Kinds of Weather

Arkansas Frameworks:
G.1.K.7 Identify different types of weather

Students begin by making observations about weather picture cards they have been given. As groups the students will then place the cards on a sorting mat based on the observations they made. The students will then identify why they grouped the cards the way they did. They will give the groups names such as rainy, windy, sunny, cloudy, etc. A discussion will follow.
